These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of digital audio files (“Samples,” “Loops,” “Kits,” or “Sounds”) purchased or downloaded from Laptop & A Mission ("we", "our", or "us") via our website or any authorized platform. By purchasing, downloading, or using any content from Laptop & A Mission, you ("you" or "User") agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License Overview

All sample packs, loops, and digital audio content provided by Laptop & A Mission are sold under a royalty-free license with conditional terms outlined below.

a. Royalty-Free (With Conditions)

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and royalty-free license to use our sounds in your music compositions, beats, and audio projects under the following conditions:

  • You may use the sounds in your own compositions, beats, or productions for commercial and non-commercial use.

  • You may sell or lease beats using our samples to independent artists.

  • You may distribute songs and beats using our samples via streaming services (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, etc.) and sales platforms.

2. Streaming Threshold & Clearance Requirement

a. Small Release (Under 1 Million Streams):

If your song, beat, or production using a Laptop & A Mission sample receives fewer than 1,000,000 streams (aggregated across all platforms), no sample clearance or royalty split is required. Your use remains royalty-free.

b. Major Release (Over 1 Million Streams):

If any composition using our sounds surpasses 1,000,000 streams, you are required to:

  • Contact us to clear the sample via email at keidren@keidrenbeats.com.

  • Negotiate a fair royalty and publishing split, typically on a case-by-case basis.

  • Ensure that we are credited accordingly, where applicable.

Failure to comply may result in legal action or takedown notices for unlicensed use.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or share the raw, unaltered samples individually or as part of another sample pack, whether for free or for sale.

  • Claim authorship of the raw sounds or loops.

  • Upload our unaltered loops or compositions to Content ID systems (e.g., YouTube Content ID) or stock audio libraries.

You may:

  • Use the samples as part of your own original compositions.

  • Sell or license beats incorporating the samples.

  • Collaborate with artists or producers using the samples in finished musical works.

4. Ownership

All sounds, loops, and kits remain the intellectual property of Laptop & A Mission. You are licensed to use them as per the terms above, but you do not own the underlying recordings or compositions.

5. Credits (Optional but Appreciated)

While not mandatory for releases under 1 million streams, we appreciate credit such as:

“Sample by KEIDREN!”
or
“Loop from KEIDREN!”

For releases requiring sample clearance (see Section 2b), credit may be required as part of the agreement.

6. Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a sample pack or kit has been downloaded.

7. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time. This includes but is not limited to instances of suspected misuse of our products, violation of these Terms, abusive or disrespectful behavior, or fraudulent activity.

8. Disclaimer

Laptop & A Mission is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from the use or misuse of our products. Users are responsible for ensuring that their use complies with these Terms.

9. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our products after changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
